potty habits

BUNNY POOPING OUTSIDE LITTER BOX NEW

I have a 6 month old male rabbit ( I got him when he was 2 months old).

Any time he poops outside his litter box he is telling me to clean it! After I set up a fresh litter box, he uses it again.

Rabbits are very clean and some bunnies (like my Chewy)only poop and pee 2 or 3 times in the box and wants it changed. Some bunnies can wait until the box is really full of poop before they won't use it again. I had a bunny who was like that.

What kind of hay are you using? Timothy hay is the best choice, unless your rabbit has some adversion or allergy to it. Also, make sure you put PLENTY of hay in it!
PLENTY hay in the box.

Potty issues

Sorry but I too am having a problem with my netherland dwarf doe. She's started peeing outside her litter box onto her blanket. I'd love to know why!
