Pairing rabbits

We recently bought a pair of males rabbits from the same litter, both being nine weeks old. Unfortunately one of them died after three days and this was very upsetting for my son.

we would like to buy another bunny from the same breeder to keep the other one company, we are not sure if he is missing his brother, but a pair always seem to be happier. My question is, is this advisable getting another one? the other litters will not be ready for a few weeks, which means Sherlock will have had the run of the hutch all that time and i am worried he will be fiesty wiht a younger bunny.
