My recently neutered, male of 3 years has suddenly started to molt a lot more than he has in the past....

My rabbit has started molting tremendously! after the first proper brush after i realised he was molting so much, a section on his back is extra short, not bold, but sensitive ... i haven't seen this before... he's still molting strongly!... is this ok!?

Is he going to molt until he's fully extra short haired!???
