My rabbit keeps eating newspaper

Hello
My rabbit keeps eating newspaper that we put in his hutch.Is this a bad thing and what does it mean?
Any ideas please?

It's not very good for them to consume a lot of newspaper due to the ink. It may be uncomfortable for them, noisy to walk on,may be territorial or just playing. Using hay as bedding is usually best. If it is for cleaning id suggest linoleum on the whole flooring so it's easy to clean and reusable. :)
