my babies, both 8 weeks old

I wanted 2 bunnies but got them from separate homes, I've been told they are male and female and have just brought them home today.

They are currently snuggled up together with no fighting so far, am I ok to let them sleep in same place or do I need to wait. The male seems very protective of her already, have I found the perfect match or is it not that simple. To be honest I was expecting the bonding process to be harder, or am I just jumping the gun?
