baby aslan

my rabbits name is Aslan. She is the sweetest rabbit any owner could ask for. she loves cuddles, and gives LOTS of kisses, shes energetic, jealous, demands attention all the time, but most of all loving. she loves almost everyone. my boyfriend and I went to the pet shop one day and the owners were offering her to us for free, she was abandoned in a dumpster behind the pet shop when she was so young and we decided to take her in and ever since that day .. shes my bestfriend , my baby , and I love her SO much ! The reason we called her Aslan is because of her beard , like the lion off of Narnia. when she was young it was really prominent but shes kind of grown into it now and shes also really smart. she knows some tricks (:

Lionhead Rabbit

Weight: 3 – 4 lbs (1.36 – 1.81 kg) Small

Colour: Various colours and markings

Lifespan: 8 – 10 years

The lionhead rabbit gets its name due to the lion like mane which forms a full circle around the rabbits head and falls into a fringe between the ears. However some lionheads lose their manes as they grow older.

The lionhead is only a recent addition to the England and was being imported to the country in 1995, the popularity of this breed has risen significantly just like the Angora the lionhead needs lots of grooming and as a baby they need lots of brushing until they get their main coat. The mane has to be kept free of straw and hay bedding material.

Lionhead

I am pretty sure it is a lionhead, considering the fact that it had fur on the sides of it's head. I have also seen many lionheads and your rabbit surely looks like one.
