bonding/after being apart 3 months

by Pat

Hi
My female rabbit lives happily with one of her offspring (male - only 10 weeks) outside, loads of room, good secure run at night, both vaccinated, both soon to be neutered.

I am now concerned about another rabbit's living conditions and might offer to have it. Sex unknown. It is one of a previous litter. (I did'nt give them the rabbit - I had the female after it had that litter).

If I introduce them - will the female recognise the young one? It has been about 3 months since they met and the youngster is about 8 months old.

I am trying to work out if this will work!
Also 3 rabbits together. Will it disturb the lovely happy bonding the 2 rabbits already have?

Any ideas please

The risk is that you could end up with 3 singles or a pair and a single if one of the pair takes to the newcomer over their present mate or of course it could be fne. It all depends on the rabbits personalities... Would you be able to take a fourth rabbit to pair if the bonding didn't work? Hope it all goes well for you.
