Binding Flemish Giants

Hello everyone

I am thinking about getting a Flemish Giant Buck as a pet. I have been doing research and on some websites it recommends getting a buddy for it, while on others it says that it is a bad idea and they will fight?

Being new to rabbits I want to make sure I have the right information. If I were to get two rabbits from the same litter would that be okay? I'm guessing a buck and doe pair is the easiest, but is that the only option? Note: I plan on spay/neutering both of them no matter the sex.
