Hello everyone
The fur on my rabbit's back legs is stuck together like he has been licking them could there be something wrong with him.
Not sure whether I need to worry about this or not?
thanks

Rabbit's fur is stuck NEW
by: Anonymous

Hello:
My dam had the same thing around her private area some time after giving birth 1 month later. I noticed she couldn't do a proper job so I cut the fur as close as possible then gave her a gentle bath/rinse. Later I got the blow dryer and made sure she dried off before I put her back in her cage. It seemed to get worse...then all her fur in that area fell out. And in approx. 1 week her fur started growing back & she was back to normal with all her fur.
Rabbits are resilient.

This might be really late, but

Did the rabbit have diarrhea? Usually when they have diarrhea or issues w/ the bladder, the dung might get stuck to the belly fur and dry. If the rabbit has trouble cleaning it, as rabbits usually should get the 'dirt' off, look up what to use to gently clean it off. That's another topic. ( Make sure that the rabbit can't get it off itself before you think about trying to get it off yourself, if the case is ^. ) Yeah, this is probably too late but now you know ;) hope your bun is ok
